For over 25 years, Profaqua has been helping young people discover science in exciting and meaningful ways. We believe that the best learning happens when children can explore, experiment, ask questions, and experience the wonder of the world around them.
Over the years, we have expanded our programs, developed new workshops, created interactive science shows, designed innovative educational projects, and inspired thousands of young people across Quebec and British Columbia. One thing, however, has never changed: our passion for making science interactive, engaging, and accessible to everyone.

Eric Tremblay
Founder of Profaqua
Since founding Profaqua in 2000, Éric Tremblay has dedicated his career to inspiring young minds through interactive science workshops, engaging science shows, and hands-on robotics activities.
Since relocating to British Columbia in 2021, Éric has travelled thousands of kilometres each year to bring his programs to French-language and French immersion schools across the province. His enthusiasm, sense of humour, and dynamic teaching style allow him to connect with students quickly while making science exciting, accessible, and fun.
Over the past 25 years, Éric has developed more than 55 interactive science workshops covering a wide range of topics, including biology, chemistry, physics, environmental science, engineering, space, and robotics. Every program is designed to spark curiosity, encourage critical thinking, and inspire young people to explore the world around them.
Always looking for new ways to innovate, Éric continues to create educational programs that offer memorable learning experiences. His mission has remained the same for more than 25 years:

Eric Czerniecki
Owner and Director – Profaqua QC Inc.
As the Owner and Director of Profaqua QC Inc., Éric Czerniecki proudly continues Profaqua’s mission of inspiring young people across Quebec through engaging and interactive science education.
With more than 20 years of experience in day camps, youth programming, and organizational leadership, Éric has developed extensive expertise in creating educational environments that are engaging, safe, and fun. His leadership, organizational skills, and ability to motivate his team play an essential role in delivering high-quality learning experiences for young people.
In 2020, Éric met Profaqua founder Éric Tremblay, and they quickly discovered a shared passion for education, science, and inspiring the next generation. Their collaboration grew naturally, and in 2023, Éric became the owner of Profaqua QC Inc., ensuring the continued growth and success of the organization in Quebec.
Today, Éric remains committed to providing meaningful educational experiences that spark curiosity, encourage discovery, and inspire young people to explore the world of science while having fun.

More than just a mascot, Aqua has been part of Profaqua’s identity since the company was founded in 2000 and proudly appears in our logo.
Why a water drop?
Because water is at the heart of life and countless scientific discoveries. It allows us to explore fascinating concepts such as the water cycle, states of matter, ecosystems, environmental science, chemistry, and so much more. It’s the perfect symbol of curiosity and exploration.
Aqua also represents one of Profaqua’s core values: curiosity.
Just as a single drop of water creates ripples, one simple question can spark a child’s curiosity and inspire a lifelong journey of discovery.
Although water covers most of our planet, only about 2.5% is fresh water. This precious resource reminds us of the importance of protecting our environment and helping young people understand the scientific challenges that shape our world today and in the future.

Hebe
Camp Coordinator – Profaqua QC Inc.
For many years, Hébé has played an essential role at Profaqua QC Inc. As Éric Czerniecki’s right-hand partner, she helps plan, organize, and coordinate the six summer camps operated by the company.
Hébé’s passion for summer camps began when she was just 15 years old, working as a camp counsellor. Her dedication, leadership, and organizational skills quickly led her into coordination roles, where she now helps create safe, engaging, and memorable experiences for hundreds of young campers each year.
What motivates Hébé most is seeing children grow in confidence, discover new passions, and return summer after summer with smiles on their faces. She also values the strong relationships she builds with families, camp counsellors, and the entire Profaqua team.
Through her professionalism, energy, and genuine passion for working with young people, Hébé plays an important role in making every Profaqua summer camp a fun, enriching, and unforgettable experience.
